#GivingTuesday, a crucial day for nonprofit fundraising, is just around the corner! And we’re here to provide you with some helpful resources to support your busy fundraising efforts. Where should you start? Take a look at a few of our recommendations below to kick things off with ClickBid Event Fundraising.
1. Customize ClickBid’s Text-To-Give or Online Donation Page
Utilizing ClickBid’s Text-to-Give/Online Donation page is the quickest and easiest way to accept donations. Creating a customized page that helps engage your donors is crucial. Not only does it ensure your page fits your branding, but it also tells donors your story, while encouraging them to donate to your cause. Within this page, you can add information about your organization’s plans for the funds received or how donating will make a difference within the community. Your organization can also use ClickBid’s Event Landing Page to promote Giving Tuesday and your cause.
2. Create Social Media Campaigns with QR Codes and Text-to-Donate Instructions
ClickBid offers a few ways for people to get started and donate. You can either share a custom QR code provided or communicate the simple Text-to-Give option.
The QR code is easily generated from ClickBid’s platform for you to print out or share on social media. Your donors can also easily text your ClickBid keyword to the phone number 56651 to get the direct link to complete their donation. Both options are available for your donors to use based on what’s most convenient for them.

3. Promote Your Cause and Start Accepting Donations!
You don’t have to wait until Giving Tuesday (Tuesday, November 29, 2022) to promote your organization. We recommend promoting the event as far as 15 days ahead. It doesn’t hurt to keep reminding your audience about the significance of this day and how they can get involved with your charity. You will want to encourage everyone to donate and keep your audience posted on the success of your campaign. After Giving Tuesday is over, you can make a follow-up post providing your donors with a grand total of their donations, and thanking them for their continued support.
