Creating a Community of Changemakers: ClickBid Employees Gift Nonprofits Free Access to its Event Fundraising Software

December 21, 2022

We all know that nonprofit organizations and charities need to raise funds in order to keep the wheels turning, and hosting events throughout the year is a key part of this.

A recent Nonprofit Trends and Impacts 2021 study found that nonprofits with annual budgets of less than $500,000 receive approximately 30% of their revenue from individual donations.

But there’s a lot that goes into managing a fundraising event — from organization, to promotion, to hosting, and then following up with all your guests.

That’s why we designed our platform to make the whole process of running an event crazy simple.

As part of our mission to help charities and nonprofits, we asked each of our employees to gift a free ClickBid license to an organization of their choice.

We want the nonprofit community to know that we are there for them. And offering a free license to an employee’s nonprofit is one way we can give back. It also allows our employees an opportunity to get involved — giving them first-hand experience working with an organization and enabling them to offer better service to others in the future.

Features of the free license gifted to the nonprofits includes everything in ClickBid’s annual event license such as:

  • Onboarding, training, and assistance throughout the year

  • Unlimited bidders/silent auction items

  • Unlimited events (ie. running a silent auction, fund-a-need, golf outing, annual gala, text-to-give campaigns, and more)

  • Mass messaging

  • Custom ticket pages

  • Custom landing pages

  • And more

Among one of the nonprofits chosen by our Business Manager, Lisa Stanley, was The Hope Project, an anti-trafficking organization located in Muskegon County. The Hope Project supports the healing of girls and women who have survived human trafficking and prevents further cases through mentoring and education.

“We are so excited to use ClickBid this year at our annual Masquerade Ball fundraiser! With ClickBid, we’ll have access to more silent auction items, and giving will be easier for our guests, which will allow more funds to help our mission!” said Sara Johnson, Executive Director of The Hope Project.

“It means a lot to have the opportunity to support a charity that is close to my heart,” explains Stanley. “Offering my experience and knowledge to help The Hope Project live our their mission, spread the word, and grow their funds is something I’m passionate about — it’s amazing to work for a company that partners alongside my passion.”

With many nonprofits relying on donations to help their organization thrive, we’re dedicated to giving back to the community, equipping nonprofits with the resources they need to make a difference, and investing in our employees to enable the best support possible.
